ABOUT ME - REBECCA BOIRE-WEST

I am a certified Personal Trainer, Health Coach, and a licensed Massage Therapist specializing in medical massage. I am a graduate of the Center for Natural Wellness and Massage Therapy in Albany, NY, Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York, NY, and Holistic Nutrition Lab digestive and full body systems. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from SUNY Empire State.

My learning never ends!! I have completed advanced training and coursework specializing in areas such as pelvic health through the Institute for Birth Healing and Core Exercise Solutions.

As a Body Worker, I look at the whole person in a compassionate way, tailoring each session to the person’s individual needs utilizing various assessments, manipulations and medical massage techniques. Following applicable assessment(s), I apply my Root Cause Analysis, Personal Training and Health Coaching skills (as needed) to provide appropriate recommendations to help you feel your optimal best. When needed, applicable exercises and/or stretches are assigned with personal training guidance on proper technique to ensure safety and success.

As a health coach I look at all areas of person's life and how they are connected. I support my clients in making positive changes that are based on their unique needs, lifestyle, and background to achieve energy, balance, and health.

I have been a certified Personal Trainer since 2008. I previously worked at the Wellness Center in Plattsburgh, NY in the next steps health care provider-referral program that focused on specific health-related conditions such as cardiac, orthopedic, cancer, pre and post-surgery fitness and more.

Outside of my professional interests, I enjoy running, singing, reading, and spending time with my family.
